In conjunction with the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA), we offer the first and only Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist (BCMAS) program with the goal of advancing the role of doctorate-level professionals in the pharmaceutical industry.
The Medical Affairs field has grown at a staggering rate of over 300% in the last 10 years and is estimated to continue growing. There are over 7000 drugs in development, many of which are in the rare diseases space. Additionally, health care providers are demanding more in depth, scientific information and education from pharmaceutical companies. This translates into an opportunity for medical affairs to be at the forefront of disseminating scientific & clinical information to physicians and other allied health care professionals.
The BCMAS program is an online, self-paced course with the intent of establishing your recognition as an advanced medical affairs professional. The program consists of a series of modules ranging in multiple topics covering medical affairs and the pharmaceutical industry and a final exam. Candidates who successfully complete the program will be rewarded with a certificate of completion and the BCMAS designation to his or her title.
The BCMAS program is ideal for professionals currently in or actively seeking to work in the Medical Affairs field. The program is open to PharmD, PhD, MD, & DO graduates and candidates. Foreign medical graduates are also eligible.
Applications for admittance into the BCMAS program are currently being accepted.
